Services in Spanish and English

Mayte Headshot.jpg

Mayte is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She provides treatment in English and Spanish.
Mayte is a Solution-focused therapist working with PTSD and Trauma. "I believe that unresolved trauma is at the root of many mental health issues. I have found that talk therapy doesn't always resolve trauma and that additional interventions are often needed. My preferred method for treating trauma is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).  A.R.T. is more of a procedure than talk therapy, and doesn't require the individual to talk about the trauma. A.R.T. is quick and effective, with research showing relief from trauma in as few as 3-4 sessions.
I’m a Licensed Marriage Family and Child therapist and I have been helping people heal for nearly 16 years. I have studied many modalities of therapy including EMDR (certified), CBT, TFCBT, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
After learning Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) in 2022, I found that my clients began to heal more quickly, sometimes resolving a major trauma in just a few sessions. Session after session, I felt amazed with what I was experiencing with my clients and blessed that I had a therapy that made such a difference in my client’s healing.
I seek to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for processing and healing. If you are seeking relief from the effects of addiction or trauma, feel free to reach out to me. Let me know if you have any questions that I might be able to answer. I have helped many individuals find healing from trauma and I look forward to helping you."
