Adults, Individuals, and Couples

About Me

Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples through some of life’s most tender and challenging seasons. Whether you are navigating the complexities of your relationship, facing the heartache of infertility, or adjusting to the realities of postpartum life, you don’t have to go through it alone.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing and growth happen within safe, supportive connection. Together, we’ll work to strengthen resilience, foster understanding, and create meaningful pathways forward individually and as a couple. My goal is to provide a safe space that allows you to explore past and present traumas that bring you to this place today. Because our brain doesn’t forget past hurt, we are often left in a cycle of hurt, rage, or sadness that prevents us from living life as we deserve. My desire is to assist clients as we trace trauma, disappointment, and previous hurt so those situations can be untangled and healed.

Trauma affects our lives in areas we are not aware of, however, trauma remains in our brain. When we talk about childhood trauma, we aren’t just talking about big, obvious events like abuse or neglect. Trauma can also come from repeated smaller experiences such as not feeling safe, not feeling seen, or growing up in an environment where your emotional needs weren’t met. Children don’t have the same tools adults do to process stress, so painful experiences can get stored in the body and mind in a way that continues to impact you later. When something overwhelming happens in childhood, your brain and body focus on survival. That means sometimes emotions, memories, or beliefs about yourself get ‘frozen’ in time. As an adult, you might notice certain triggers, emotional reactions, or patterns in relationships that trace back to those early experiences.

Let’s begin to unpack that in a manner that allows you to begin to heal your heart and carve out a new way to face the world. You matter, every story matters, and every struggle deserves care. My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, understood, and equipped to move toward hope and wholeness.

If you are seeking Biblical Counseling, I am also dedicated to working with couples and individuals who want to seek God while developing skills which promote positive communication and healing. Seeking mental health care through God’s word and love allows us to seek love and forgiveness for ourselves and others. Fortunately, when we seek God, we discover an enduring love that our heart needs.
