Our Story
Through the Sea Marriage and Family Counseling was founded in 2018 with a vision to offer high-quality professional therapy and Biblical counseling to the local community. By God's grace, our therapists have assisted thousands of individuals, couples, families, and children in addressing their psychological and relational concerns.
Now with 4 locations in Southern California—West Covina, Upland, Newport Beach, and San Diego—and nearly 50 therapists on staff, we are equipped to meet the needs of our local community. Our therapists offer a personalized approach to therapy and are equipped to meet your unique needs, providing trustworthy and competent care. We are here to walk alongside you towards healing and personal growth. Above all, it is our compassionate, Gospel-centered approach that serves our clients far beyond their momentary problems:

We believe the Bible provides essential truths, principles, and techniques for addressing the human condition. This does not mean we refuse supplemental methods of various psychological theories. Rather, we submit all extrabiblical counseling science to the appropriate principles and techniques from scripture in our therapeutic practice.
