Who I Work With
I support minors, college-age students, young adults, couples, and families, providing a nurturing, nonjudgmental environment where they can safely explore their pain, discover their strengths, and move forward with purpose and clarity.
About Me
Life can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate at times, and it is not always easy to find someone who truly listens and understands. If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or questions around identity and faith, you do not have to face it alone. I am here to provide a safe, compassionate space where your story is honored, your voice is heard, and your journey is supported.
My passion for helping others comes from a life shaped by meaningful and diverse experiences, all of which have deepened my empathy and commitment to supporting you on your path. I come from a missionary family in Brazil and had the privilege of serving among the Quechua people in Bolivia. For 17 years, I worked in K–12 education, led women’s Bible studies, and mentored individuals, couples, at-risk youth, and families. These experiences deepened my understanding of emotional, relational, and spiritual healing across diverse cultures and life stages.
As a therapist, I take a collaborative and client-centered approach, always honoring your values, your pace, and your goals. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to assist people on their journey to healing. When requested, I also incorporate Biblically centered counseling to support clients who desire a faith-based perspective in their healing process.
Healing is possible, and you do not have to go through it alone. It is a true privilege to walk with you and hold space for your journey toward greater peace, clarity, and wholeness.
Off the Clock
Outside my work, I find joy and inspiration in spending time with my husband and young adult children. I enjoy traveling, singing, and engaging in missionary work. I also love spending time at the beach, dancing, and expressing myself through creative art. These experiences enrich my perspective and fuel my passion for helping others live more vibrant and fulfilling lives.
