About Me
Taking the step to begin healing is a courageous decision, and I deeply honor the strength it takes to seek support. Life can bring challenges and heartbreak we never expected, and in those moments, having a safe and supportive space can make all the difference. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you find clarity, healing, and hope.
Psalm 77:19 says, “Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters.” This verse inspired the name of our practice and reflects my calling to provide Biblical counseling for those who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process. As a Christian counselor, I believe God’s Word has the power to transform and heal, and it is an honor to walk with clients as they pursue both spiritual and emotional restoration.
Since 2012, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, which has given me a broad foundation of clinical experience. My background includes supporting individuals in residential care, runaway shelters, and within the foster care system. I have also led programs serving older adults and survivors of domestic violence, both of which remain close to my heart. In addition, I have worked with children and parents to strengthen family relationships and foster healthier connections.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, offering compassionate and informed care to help them rebuild and thrive. I also bring specialized experience in treating eating disorders, having previously worked in the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care.
My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered on their journey toward healing and growth.
