About Me
Have you ever felt so alone, sad, and afraid? Unsure what is to come, and how to navigate the world with the personal challenges you face? Are you in a space where it feels like nobody is around to hear you, understand you, or even notice you and invite you to be part of their world? I understand the loneliness, the suffering, and the fear you may be experiencing. As a therapist living with chronic pain, I specialize in helping others with chronic pain find hope, find their voice, and find their way through a world that often feels dark.
I have worked in hospital settings and non-profit communities, where patients had severe accidents and injuries, long-term health problems, and adverse circumstances. During my time with these clients, I developed much empathy and compassion for them—noticing their burden, fear, and confusion. I saw the fragility of life, and the value of time we have here on earth. I also noticed the major difference that relationships and connections made in their healing journey—friends, family, supportive community, and even their relationship with God, gave them a sense of hope and belonging.
Often times, people do not have the right words or secure space to express themselves. My art background and training are the foundation for my specialization in art therapy. Art is a powerful tool that promotes healing, insight, and connection. By expressing ourselves through art, we can share our emotions and experiences when we don’t have the words. I engage my clients through their art in order to understand their world, their needs, and foster healing.
We are all created through God’s infinite creativity—he is the ultimate creator and created us in His image. I hope to instill faith and conviction in Christ who gives them strength to overcome their circumstances, that they may find their fulfillment intended by God. Wherever you are now, I am here to start the journey with you.
Off the Clock
I am a creative soul with a love for calligraphy and painting. I am rooted in my Christian faith and guided by grace. Auntie life is the best life—especially with my awesome nephews. I’m a foodie, always on the hunt for the next great bite.
