Who I Work With

Adolescents and Young Adults

About Me

I specialize in counseling adolescents and young adults as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, and mental health concerns. My work often focuses on anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and family dynamics. I also support individuals seeking faith-integrated therapy, helping them align emotional wellness with spiritual growth.

With 30 years in helping professions—including 24 years in youth ministry and five years as a therapist—I bring a unique blend of clinical training, pastoral insight, and relational depth to the therapy space. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California with a focus on Youth and Family Studies, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Fuller Seminary.

My approach combines evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with biblical counseling principles. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, process life’s challenges, and build practical tools for lasting change. I believe true healing happens when both heart and mind are engaged—fostering resilience, clarity, and personal growth.

Off the Clock

Outside of work, I’m an avid sports fan and enjoy reading and exploring the outdoors. I love spending time with family and friends and will never turn down a cup of coffee.
