About Me
Hi, I’m Arnold Hyun, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a middle school educator, where I witnessed firsthand how untreated mental health challenges affect students, families and communities. That experience led me to pursue my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller School of Psychology so I could support individuals and families in a deeper and more direct way.
I bring over 25 years of experience working with students, individuals and families across school and hospital settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support each person’s unique needs. These experiences have strengthened my belief that healing happens through partnership, trust and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.
My work is grounded in Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our early experiences often shape how we see ourselves, relate to others and navigate the world. In therapy, we work together to explore your life experiences, relationships and personal perspectives so you can better understand yourself and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I work with individuals and families facing a wide range of concerns, including life transitions, relationship or parenting challenges, loneliness, depression and anxiety. If you are feeling at a crossroads in your personal or professional life, I would be honored to partner with you to address your concerns and support meaningful, lasting change in your life.
Off the Clock
I enjoy being active, training for marathons, golfing, spending time with my wife, twin boys, eating good food and traveling the world.
