Have you ever wondered what marriage was really about? Marriage was designed to be profound; join us to discover its beautiful purpose. We welcome anyone (married or not) who are interested in the meaning of the profound marriage.

FAQ

What does my ticket include?

Registration per couple is $250. Registration for an individual attendee is $125, and $50 additionally for any childcare needed. Your ticket includes 2 catered meals, refreshments, and event material.

Where is the event located?

This event will be hosted at our main office:

West Covina, CA 91791

Who is providing childcare?

The purchase of the childcare ticket will provide on-site childcare by trained and experienced workers, and two meals. Up to 3 children may be covered per childcare ticket.

What if I need to cancel?

Full refunds are available until May 10, 2024.

After this date, fees are non-refundable.

The Profound Marriage

Samantha Pane

Samantha Pane has been a member of New Hope Community Church of West Covina for the last 13 years. She is married to their lead pastor, David Pane, and they have 3 great kids: Katarina, Chelsa, and Paton. With a vision to provide skilled professional and Biblical counseling to the community, she founded Through the Sea Marriage and Family Counseling in 2018. Over the past 5 years, Through the Sea has grown to employ over 40 professional and certified Biblical counselors. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Samantha specializes in marriage counseling, with a sub-specialty in restoration after infidelity. She is an evangelist at heart and finds her greatest joy in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and watching Him save souls and change lives.

David Pane

David Pane is the lead pastor of New Hope Community Church of West Covina, and is completing his Master's of Divinity at Gateway Theological Seminary. He is a gifted gospel-centered preacher, and compassionate relational pastor to his congregation. He loves teaching and bringing the intricacies of scripture to life, for people to live out their faith. He is married to Samantha Pane and loves climbing trees with their 3 beautiful children.

Nate San

Nate San serves as the Associate Pastor at New Life Christian Alliance Church in Whittier. He has over two decades of experience in church planting and mentoring young leaders. He has also been involved in close to 50 weddings in various capacities, from the best man to the officiant and counselor. Nate has a passion for discipleship and spiritual formation of all people toward Christ likeness. He holds a Master's of Divinity from Tozer Seminary, a Bachelor's in Communication from Cal Poly Pomona, and is currently working toward his Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. He loves investing time with his wife of 13 years, son of 3 years, and Labrador of 5 months.

Bryan Chan

Bryan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and supervisor at Through the Sea. With Master's degrees in Counseling Psychology and Counseling Ministry from California Baptist University, he has a passion for helping people heal from trauma, transform their relationships, and ultimately find joy and restoration in Christ. Bryan also serves at his local church and loves to mentor the next generation. In his free time, he can be found hanging out with his wife and dog, perfecting his pour-over coffee, exploring new recipes for smoking meat, and cheering on the Lakers.

Sabrina Aguilar

Sabrina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Through the Sea. She graduated from Biola University with a major in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Biblical Studies, and from Azusa Pacific University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She enjoys pre-marital counseling as well as working with people who struggle with anxiety, anger, and identity. Sabrina approaches therapy holistically to integrate mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. In her free time, she helps her husband run their business, cultivates new recipes in the kitchen, and plays outside with her beloved dog.

Christina Sanchez

Christina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Through the Sea. She obtained her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and Bachelor’s in Psychology from Life Pacific University. Christina worked as an Adjunct Professor at Life Pacific University, pouring into the next generation of helping professionals. As a therapist, she specializes in couples work and church hurt. She is passionate about helping people grow in Christ, serving as a leader in women's ministry at Valley Community Church, where she has been a member for 12 years. Her interests include the ocean, architecture, thrift shopping, winning at board games/sports, and time with her family.
