With a vision to provide skilled professional and Biblical counseling to the community, Through the Sea Marriage and Family Counseling Inc. was founded. Samantha specializes in counseling couples through issues related to communication difficulties, ministry life, infidelity recovery, and abuse. She also cares for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship distress.

Ian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As a trained Biblical counselor, he enjoys bringing God's word and the hope of the Gospel into his treatment with clients who request it. Ian specializes in treating depression and anxiety with adults and those in late adolescence. He has facilitated and developed curriculum for depression and anxiety recovery programs using empirically validated approaches in the intensive outpatient (IOP) setting. Ian also has experience in working with couples, mood disorders and eating disorders.

Angela earned her first Master of Arts Degree from Azusa Pacific University with an emphasis in Research. While doing research on the grieving process, she fell in love with the idea of helping people. She decided to continue her education to obtain a second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy.
Angela believes that therapy is a journey, where an individual can share his/her experiences in a safe environment. Every person has a story to tell and Angela became a therapist to help people tell their story and find hope. She works within a Family Systems approach, as well as a Person-Centered approach.
