Who I Work With
Children (8+), Teens, Adults, and Caregivers—special focus on aging-related challenges
About Me
Everyone experiences challenges at different points in life, and having someone walk alongside you can make all the difference. You don’t have to walk through those struggles alone. My goal is to support you in understanding your obstacles, setting meaningful goals, and moving toward them at a pace that is in step with hopeful lasting change.
I work with children and teens during times of emotional and developmental challenges. For adults I work with difficulties such as life transitions, pressure of everyday demands, caregiver burnout, and adults navigating aging-related challenges.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in History from Whittier College and a Master of Social Work with a specialization in adulthood and aging from California State University, Long Beach. I have had many opportunities to advocate for vulnerable populations throughout my educational experience—including children with developmental disabilities, at-risk youth, foster and adopted youth, adults in need of care, caregivers, and many others for whom life’s burdens have felt overwhelming.
My approach is holistic, meaning I consider the emotional, behavioral, relational, and spiritual aspects of well-being. I offer a calming, supportive presence through resource linkage, psychotherapy, behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and a listening ear. Moreover, because I believe the Bible offers deep healing and hope, I joyfully apply Scripture into the therapeutic process for clients who desire Biblical Counseling and lasting change. I also draw from strength-based, research-supported practices to promote relief, resilience, and day-to-day well-being. Collaboration is central to my work, as I aim to support meaningful, long-term growth and hopeful insight.
Off the Clock
Spending time outdoors around nature, away from city noise with my wife and children, enjoying coffee, learning through various forms of media (i.e. podcasts and audiobooks), tinkering with technology, playing video games, and discovering new music.
