About Me
I've learned that mental health struggles are not a reflection of weakness or inability, but often stem from the ways we have learned to survive, connect, and protect ourselves. Through my experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions, I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore patterns that may no longer serve them and develop healthier ways of living, coping, and connecting with others.
My approach is informed by training in interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and biblical counseling. Together, these perspectives will help you understand how your life experiences, relationships, nervous system, and faith shape the way you think, feel, and relate to others. As you become aware of these connections, you will feel a deeper sense of emotional resilience, healing, and hope.
My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and shapes the way I view people and relationships. It reminds me that people are not defined by or reduced to the sum of their experiences, struggles, or past mistakes, but are individuals with inherent worth, dignity, and purpose to love God and others. If faith is meaningful to you, I'm happy to incorporate it into our work together. If not, that's completely okay too. I welcome individuals and families from all backgrounds and strive to provide a caring, nonjudgmental space where you can pursue healing, growth, and emotional wellness.
Off the Clock
I find meaning in life by spending time with my family and being involved in my church community. To stay active, I love doing mat Pilates and going on walks in nature. My dog, Cooper, also makes sure I stay on my toes when he's ready to play a game of fetch!
