About Me
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) dedicated to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate the emotional, spiritual, and developmental challenges of life. My heart is to create a warm, Christ-centered environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood, empowering them to pursue lasting healing, resilience, and meaningful change. Within this supportive space, I value compassionate honesty, believing that true transformation often involves both grace and gentle accountability as clients step into their full potential.
My therapeutic approach integrates a Psychodynamic and Attachment-based framework with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills. This allows clients to explore the deeper roots of their experiences while developing practical tools for emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and sustainable growth.
My clinical foundation was established through my training at Pepperdine University and further shaped by my work at Vanguard University as an on-campus therapist and at Waymakers within its juvenile diversion program. These experiences provided me with extensive training in supporting individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, eating disorders, and attachment-related concerns.
Operating from a Christian worldview, I am deeply passionate about thoughtfully integrating faith into the therapeutic process for clients who desire it. I strive to offer a space where emotional healing and spiritual formation can work together, fostering hope, restoration, and lasting transformation.
Off the Clock
In my free time, I serve as a substitute teacher, which provides an "on-the-ground" perspective of the systemic pressures students face today. Out of the office, I find restoration in the simple joys of reading historical fiction, baking sourdough bread, walking my dogs, spending time with family, and beach days.
